Job Summary
The HR Generalist will be responsible for the administration of all Payroll and Benefits related activities for the Company. This role will serve as the subject-matter-expert for all Dayforce modules within the HR Department.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the configuration, maintenance, and updates of Dayforce to align with changing business requirements and regulatory changes.
Serve as a point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, providing support to associates and managers.
Process alternating bi-weekly payroll for corporate and retail associates, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and prepare all required payroll tax filings.
Develop and maintain comprehensive payroll reporting, including earnings statements, tax forms, and other compliance documentation.
Perform all end of year activities including processing and mailing all W4s.
Administer benefits (Health, Dental, 401k, Life, LTD, EAP, FSA, etc.)
Maintain broker relationships and administer open enrollment
Assist with benefits analysis
Manage billing and employee inquiries for all benefits
Perform EEOC reporting
Manage FMLA as well as Short Term Disability processing
Prepare reports for employee data contained in HRIS in response to request from users within Human Resources, Finance and Payroll
Essential Qualifications
Proficient in Dayforce, including configuration, reporting and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of HIPPA, FMLA and general HR Policies
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Strong communication skills among all levels of organization.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high degree of accuracy
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll management and benefits administration. Retail experience is a plus but not required.
