Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, or related service / science disciplines. At least three (3) years of work experience in a social service and / or human service field, business administration, or experience involving engagement with landlords or property managers, in real estate, or conducting appropriate connections of individuals, especially those experiencing homelessness, to housing services may be considered in lieu of a degree. Certification and / or licensure in relevant disciplines (for example, certified addictions counselor) may also substitute for educational requirements.
- One year of experience involving engagement with landlords or property managers, in real estate, or conducting appropriate connections of individuals, especially those experiencing homelessness, to housing services
- Knowledge of housing resources, subsidy programs and the continuum of care for individuals experiencing homeless, as well as experience working with landlords and property managers is preferred.
- Individuals with lived experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving in individual or group settings
- Knowledge of diverse audiences
- Ability to provide personalized assistance
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented work environment
