Job Title : Direct Support ProfessionalJob Requirement : DSP I and / or II training, cleared fingerprints, physical and TB test, CPR and 1st AidJob Description : As a DSP I or II, you are providing direct care to all residents. This can include but isn’t limited to : Supervision or hands-on assistance with hygiene : teeth brushing, hair washing, bathing, dressing, nail careScreen residents, visitors, and staff as required for COVID-19. Notify owner or Medical Coordinator if an individual is symptomatic. Work with residents to follow COVID-19 safety procedures.Medication assistance / dispensing, packing medicationTransporting residents in company cars as assignedProviding 1st aid and summoning medical attentionLaundry, housekeeping / cleaningProfessional interactions with resident jobs / programs and familiesMeal ServiceTidying of resident’s personal space and belongingsProviding direct care to and engaging with residents in a respectful, caring manner at all timesScheduling / canceling transportationCompleting assigned training as directed by your supervisor by required deadlineOther duties as requested by your supervisor.Physical Demands :
