What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Coord Lab position at Ashtabula County Medical Center?
GENERAL SUMMARY
Directs the administrative and technical operations of the respective laboratory section at Ashtabula County Medical Center Laboratory. Responsible technically for the procedures performed in assigned Section.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates technical expertise in the clinical specialty of the section
Management experience with strong emphasis on communication and leadership skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of accrediting agency requirements
Required Length and Type of Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical laboratory.
Required Licensure or Certification
MT (ASCP) preferred OR MLT (ASCP)
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
