What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver position at Ashtead Technology?
What you'll be doing:
As CDL Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay, while ensuring compliance with DOT requirements are met.
Day to day you'll be involved in:
- Delivering/picking up product and company equipment to/from customers as required
- Delivering/picking up product to/from vendors as required
- Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicles
- Assisting shop technicians with their duties as required
- Assisting with shipping and receiving as required
- QHSE Vehicle Inspections
- Arranging servicing/maintenance on company vehicles
What experience you'll bring:
- You have a proven & safe driving track record
- CDL-A DOT endorsement
- Experience with flatbed dually to include goose neck trailer up to 40ft
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to prioritize workloads to meet different deadlines
