DESCRIPTION
Purpose of this position is to be responsible for transporting residents of Ashton Health and Rehabilitation to and from appointments, home visits, and any other destination as scheduled by the facility. Must have a valid North Carolina Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must also be on the state Certified Nursing Assistant registry in good standing.
Must be able to follow oral and written directions. Adheres to all facility policies and procedures including resident rights, infection control, and safety. Represents the facility in a professional manner and accepts duties from a supervisor in a cooperative manner. Provides exceptional customer service in all situations.
Successfully completes facility driving exam. Responsible for ensuring all appointments and visits are reached on time. Responsible for care, cleaning and fueling of the facility vehicle.
Assigned duties may include anything from the facility Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) job description. Reports anything unusual about the residents to the charge nurse.
Physical requirements :
Must be able to lift 51-74 lbs. Must be able to hear, see, smell, and speak adequately to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to adequately perform all transportation duties to include lifting, pulling, reaching, standing, withstanding repetitive motions or extremes in environmental conditions.
