Our client, an established leader in the Northeast region, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team and drive excellence in project execution. Location: Albany, NY or Meriden, CT (Hybrid Work Schedule Available)
In this role, you will lead and organize Electrical Engineering work across a variety of exciting project types, including electrification, battery electric vehicle charging systems, transit facilities, college and university facilities, and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help shape the future of these projects while ensuring high-quality engineering solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong client relationships and manage key projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Lead engineering design and production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, fostering professional development
- Certify and seal project work with a commitment to excellence
Qualifications:
- 15 years of Electrical Engineering experience in the consulting industry
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and codes
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
