What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at Ashton North?
At Ashton North, we are seeking three experienced Quality Engineers to join our expanding team. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality procedures, sampling plans, and inspection protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and prepare quality reports to drive measurable improvements
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Audit suppliers and manage performance
- Provide training and foster a culture of quality ownership and accountability
We are looking for individuals with expertise in AS9102 First Article Inspection, skilled in reading 2D/3D prints, and supplier quality development and audit experience.
In addition, applicants should have experience with wire harnesses and electronic assemblies, deep familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection, and S. in Engineering or a related field.
The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in aerospace or defense quality engineering, deep knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO-based quality systems, and proficiency with GD&T, CAD, CATIA, and Microsoft Office.
