Job Description
At Ashton North, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our quality assurance processes in metal fabrication and electrical/electronics systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of quality processes in metal fabrication and electrical/electronics systems
- Application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to machining and inspection processes
- Conduct and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in compliance with AS9102 requirements
- Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering prints to ensure product specifications are met
- Development and implementation of supplier quality improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain inspection plans to ensure consistent product quality
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and quality management certifications such as AS9100 and NADCAP
- Hands-on role requiring visual acuity and occasional lifting of items over 25 pounds
- Flexible work hours with occasional travel requirements
