Description
As an IT System Administrator you will Perform the Following Activities:
- Assist end user with day to day IT related issues (Desktop and Server)
- Create and maintain Active Directory User Accounts
- Maintenance of the Active Directory Computer Accounts
- Support day to day applications and end user queries
- Ensure uptime of the IT infrastructure onsite (AD, Networks & associated applications)
- Maintain technical implementation documentation on existing services and systems
- Perform assistance for Network & Infrastructure projects as needed at the respective site, ensuring work is delivered on-time and to a high quality.
- Provide general support for infrastructure as needed (Generally only required in working hours, but in exceptional circumstances support may be required out of hours and remotely)
- Perform daily & weekly checks on all server room equipment
- Maintenance of onsite IT Asset Registers
- Ensure all IT related issues are logged on the Helpdesk System and are resolved within the specified time frames
- Provide operating system upgrades to Windows OS Environments.
- Server Management, network security knowledge and Firewall management experience.
- Control System (DCS) / SCADA, Industrial ethernet networks, Field Buses (Modbus, PROFIBUS, etc), OS ISoft PI systems, CCTV platforms, Networking (TCP/IP)
- Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktop and laptop computers and their operating systems and peripherals
Requirements
IT System Administrator Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or other relevant qualifications from industry recognised institute (A , N , MCSA, MCSE or similar highly valued)
- 2 - 5 years’ experience as IT Technician, Network Support Technician, Systems Administrator, or similar role
- Must have experience in cloud-based networking
- Experience working with, configuring, and troubleshooting computer networks (TCP IP configuration, subnets, DNS) Distributed
