Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing transactions and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. This position requires a proactive approach to inventory management and the ability to handle heavy lifting as necessary.

Duties

• Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
• Assist customers with inquiries, providing information about products and services.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move merchandise when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing tasks, particularly during heavy lifting activities.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus.
• or multilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse customers.
• Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently.
• or pallet jack is beneficial, although training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
