- Pay range is between $64,400 to $69,700 annually. Can increase based on experience with possible increases after 6 months from date of hire.
- ACRS pays 100% for employee only HMO/Virtual Plus medical benefits. Additional options are covered anywhere from 75% to 85%.

- Paid Time Off:

- Performs initial intake to adults at the agency and off-site: conducts person-centered intake assessments by using medical necessity criteria as provided by funder for benefit package; assigns service tier level; gives provisional diagnosis by using DSM IV TR; develops initial service care plan based on intake assessment; assesses potential funding sources (Medicaid and non-Medicaid) for clients and coordinates insurance and private pay billings as needed; and meets program performance and/or productivity standards.
- Prepares concise, complete, and accurate program documentation according to agency policy and system standards. Completes all of the required documentation and reports relevant to public payors, such as Medicaid and other third party payors, such as private insurers, in a timely manner. Expected to meet program documentation standards.
- Provides back-up in initial phone and walk-in screening. Provides back-up information and referral regarding mental health services including other MH providers and other systems.
- Performs crisis intervention (including referrals to Mental Health Provider’s) over the phone and in-person.
- Participates in individual supervision, training, meetings, consultations, and conferences.
- Coordinates and cooperates with other agencies, organizations, and natural supports on client evaluation.
- Provides team back up when case coverage is needed and assists in the orientation and training of new staff, as requested.
- Other job-related duties as assigned by management.
- Must be Washington Mental Health Professional; AND
- Master’s degree in social work or social/behavioral science with two (2) years of counseling experience emphasis in mental health AND
- Must be Ethnic Minority Specialist and licensed as Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
- Knowledge of: child development principles and characteristics of mental, behavioral, and emotional problems; current social/economic problems; interview techniques; individual and group behavior; treatment methods with children, and community resources.
- Ability to work as a team member with professional and support staff; analyze and draw conclusions from case records; apply casework principles to individual situations; and exercise judgment and organize multiple tasks.
- Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices. Prefer fluency in Asian/Pacific Islander language.
- Effective ability to navigate a personal computer. Competency in use of the Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, email, and data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet.
- Must have reliable transportation. If using a personal or an agency vehicle to fulfill job duties, must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under ACRS’s auto policy. If using a personal vehicle, must have current auto insurance including coverage for work-related business.
