Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Hartford/Bloomfield, CT
Duration: Full-Time perm
Wage: $60K-$75K with uncapped commissions , benefits
HYBRID ROLE (2-3 days WFH)
MUST BE LOCATED in CONNECTICUT – Hartford area - USA BASED
The Account Manager will be responsible for the full life-cycle sales process of short and long term initiatives and staffing requirements by identifying and securing new business opportunities within existing clients, managing existing relationships as well as building new relationships.
MUST HAVES/BE:
- Sales experience – Business Development (closing, pipeline building, account mgmt., market share, etc.)
- Staff industry experience – 2 yrs preferred
- Cold Calling Ninja
- Experience and comfortable with customer-facing meetings/presentations/appointments/entertainment
- Ability to be on site at client location 2-3 days each week
Duties include the following:
- Gain market share at our client(s) by increasing headcount, revenue, and gross margins.
- Meet with client Hiring Managers on a daily basis to develop lasting relationships
- Managing the client relationship, pre-sales, post-sales, and technical assistance.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Establish relationships with client decision makers.
- Secure new business opportunities.
- Building a sales pipeline for the account(s).
- Management of SLAs set by the client, and track and measure progress.
- Effectively manage and prioritize a high volume of requisitions
- Work closely with the technical recruiting team to clearly communicate client requirements ensuring the successful identification of candidates.
- Identify and attend targeted networking events as needed which may occur outside of traditional working hours
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelors Degree highly desired
- 2 years Sales / Account Management experience - preferably in a fast-paced IT Staffing organization
- Solid understanding of and experience with navigating social media sites such as LinkedIn
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications: Outlook, Word and Excel
- Must be detail-oriented and able to create spreadsheets to track and measure progress
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong networking and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
