Job Title: Client Service Associate 

Location: Baltimore MD 21230 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Pay Range is $19 to $20.74/hr. on W2 

Job Description: 

• Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of operational processes, systems, markets, and instruments impacting the team’s daily operations.
• Analyzes complex issues, identifies root causes, and proposes actionable solutions to drive improvements.
• Ensures timely completion of compliance courses and adherence to policies.
• Develops and maintains strong day-to-day relationships with Business Unit partners, internal departments, and external clients.
• Conducts daily margining activities, ensuring compliance with margin calculation policies.
• Issues margin calls and monitors their resolution status.
• Manages collateral movements, ensuring accurate settlements, reconciliations, and maintenance of collateral balances.
• Prepares and manages client and internal reporting related to margin and collateral activities.
• Implements control activities to ensure accurate exposure capture and system monitoring.
• Responds to client and business unit inquiries regarding collateral, providing timely resolutions to complex issues.
• Participates in global initiatives and projects to enhance controls and streamline margin calculation processes.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive in seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Awareness of the regulatory landscape and its impact on business operations, with the ability to adjust control processes accordingly.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying risks, proposing mitigation strategies, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Demonstrates a commitment to high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and maintain performance under pressure.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in financial operations or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial products such as equity/fixed income, OTC derivatives, and FX is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ISDA/CSA agreements is a bonus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent escalation awareness, with the ability to assess risks and exposures effectively.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to enhance client experiences and resolve complex problems.
