Job Title: Field Support Specialist
Location: CHEYENNE WY
Duration: 9 Months
Pay rate: $19/hr.
Job Description:
- The Field Technician will perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls, focusing on electromechanical equipment like self-checkout systems. Responsibilities include:
- Installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.
- Following scripted timelines and documentation.
- Working alongside a Lead Technician initially.
Key Qualifications:
- Location: Candidate must live within ~30 minutes of assigned areas (NSAs, e.g., Columbus, OH; Kansas City).
- Age & Authorization: Must be 18 and authorized to work in the US.
- License & Vehicle: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
- Technical Skills: PC skills, basic electronics, familiarity with hardware/OS, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 75 lbs (150 lbs with assistance), bending, squatting, standing, and reaching.
- Flexibility: Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Schedule & Work Details:
Training:
- 2 weeks of paid training followed by on-the-job training (OJT).
- Assigned mentor and access to knowledge tools.
- Work Hours:
- 8-10 hours/day, 5-6 days/week.
- Initial shifts will primarily be overnight (7 PM start).
- Long-term shifts include day (8 AM–9 PM) and night (9 PM–5 AM).
- Travel:
- Travel within assigned NSA is common; occasional overnight stays reimbursed.
- Mileage reimbursed per federal standards.
Pay Structure:
- Hourly Pay: $19/hr, with overtime paid for hours worked beyond 40 in a week.
