Job Title: LIMS/ELN Configuration Specialist

Location: Boston, MA, 02210 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate: $ 55 58.45/Hr on W2 AI only

Minimum 3 days on site each week is required

Job Description:

Skills:

• 3 years of experience in LIMS/ELN configuration, development and maintenance
• Experience with Sapio, LabVantage or LabWare LIMS
• Experience with NGS workflows
• Experience configuring a LIMS or ELN
• Experience with a scripting language such as Java, javascript and/or python
• Familiarity with relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience developing formal technical specifications
• Experience with lab information technology systems architecture and integration
• Self-starter with a detail-oriented approach
• Track record of successful project planning and meeting milestones
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Team-player who thrives on working creatively in a dynamic fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, team environment

Must have:

• SOFTWARE VERIFICATION
• LIMS
• SYSTEM TESTING
• USER ACCEPTANCE
• SOPS
• LabVantage or LabWare LIMS ideally.
• Having prior experience utilizing LIMS in wet labs and experience working with LIMS teams to build requirements would be really valuable.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Education: Bachelor s Degree.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, maintain and troubleshoot R&D LIMS and ELN Software
• Interact with LIMS consultant, laboratory and informatics team members to define business requirements including automation engineering and scientists workflow requirements
• Groom LIMS feature requests and user requirements into clearly defined user stories
• Prioritize and maintain sprint backlog items in collaboration with stakeholders and Platform Owner
• Ensure that quality software development best-practices are followed including
• Software verification and validation
• Participate in the continuous process improvement of Lab Information Technology solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation, including training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), test plans and test scripts, and version control.
• Conduct system testing and User Acceptance testing
• Participate in and conduct regular peer design and process reviews.
• Respond rapidly to requests from scientists and provide ad hoc support to update R&D workflows
• Support sample tracking and automation equipment utilization.
• Collaborate and align with cross-functional LIMS stakeholder teams
• Other duties as assigned.
