Job Title : Worker Compensation Claims Adjuster
Location : Bartlesville, OK, 74003
Duration : 3-Months Contract to Hire
Pay Rate : $40 to $43 an hour on W2
Job description : Position Overview :
Analyze mid- and higher-level workers compensation claims to determine benefits, ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices, and manage subrogation and settlements.
Essential Functions :
- Manage workers compensation claims, determining compensability, benefits, and accuracy of reserves.
- File required documentation with state agencies.
- Develop and execute action plans for claim resolution and coordinate return-to-work efforts.
- Approve claim payments and process assigned claims as per contracts.
- Handle subrogation and negotiate settlements.
- Maintain claim file documentation and ensure correct coding.
- Process complex lifetime medical and / or defined-period medical claims, including state and physician filings and utilization reviews.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and claimants.
- Support the organization's quality programs and perform additional duties as assigned.
