Job Title : UX Content Designer

Location : Charlotte, NC 28208

Duration : 5 months

Pay Range is $40-$46 / hr on W2

Job description : Job Summary :

Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to craft user-centric copy for navigation, onboarding, error states, and other UX elements.
Develop and maintain a content style guide for consistency across digital touchpoints.
Leverage user research and analytics to enhance content effectiveness and engagement.
Ensure regulatory compliance by working with legal and business teams.
Integrate UX writing into broader content design strategies.
Adapt proactively to evolving project timelines and requirements.
Document content architecture to ensure seamless user flows.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant writing experience for digital audiences, experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is a plus

Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive UX writing samples

Understanding of Web Accessibility Content Guidelines (WCAG) and writing accessible content

Experience with a content style guide preferred, contributing to its creation is a plus

Proficient written and verbal communication skills

Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Microsoft 365, Jira and other design tools

Basic understanding of HTML / CSS is a plus
