Description: Sign Language Interpreter Freelance
Job Summary: Facilitate communication with one High School student.
Qualifications:
- Responsible for facilitating communication of instruction and classroom interaction through Sign Language.
- Work cooperatively with classroom teachers and other staff members.
- Dependable
Hours: 6.5 hours per day. 5 days per week per school year calendar. Willing to split this position with 2 people if needed.
We are open to working with you to obtain license to work in Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate interpretation of spoken language into American Sign Language and vice versa during meetings, events, and educational settings.
- Facilitate effective communication between deaf and hearing individuals by employing strong bilingual skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interpreting sensitive information.
- Continuously enhance linguistic skills to ensure high-quality interpretation services.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences in interpretation.

Pay: $195.00 - $228.00 per day
