As part of our company, you will be exposed to a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. Due to the nature of our business, our industry experiences fluctuations may result in irregular working hours, including weekends and holidays. Advance notice will be provided.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for accurate data entry into timekeeping system on a daily basisResponsible for creating packets, events and archiving past events in ABIReview and complete department WIP approvals in ABIPrepare and inputs vacation and PTO pay into timekeeping systemPrepare all checks and review for accuracyPrint / include employee recaps with payroll checks and distribute on payday.Calculate and prepare retroactive pay and payroll discrepancies by performing mathematical calculations and complex data processing tasks rapidly and accuratelyUpdate and achieve paper and electronic payroll recordsAddress & resolve employee’s payroll-related issuesAssist reconciling total hours for benefit reportsAdd and update building events to the ABI time keeping systemAssist in training new hires in payrollTrain employees with (ESS) Employee Self Service online systemsMaintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including HR department, accounting team, and department managers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination in all payroll-related matters.Understand and follow written and oral instructionsEstablish and maintain and promote positive and effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the publicCommunicate effectively, orally and in writingDemonstrate initiative and exercise good judgment in the performance of dutiesWork independently and as a team member; recognize and set priorities and meet deadlinesObserve safety principles and work in a safe mannerAssist with any other payroll / accounting / scheduling related project as they may ariseQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
