Concierge

Summary

ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the PT Concierge at ASM/Wildwoods Convention Center.  This position is responsible for greeting guests, providing customer service, patrolling assigned areas of the property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assures only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Ability to detect hazardous and potentially dangerous situations, communicating concerns with Public Safety.
• Ability to utilize various communications equipment including, but not limited to radios, telephone, & camera.
• Interacts with public and all levels of management and staff.
• Works with Public Safety to ensure the safety of individuals on premises.
• Works independently, judges and assesses situations for immediate response.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Education and/or Experience        

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service background or equivalent work experience.     

Skills and Abilities

• Good communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with the public and professionally handle confrontational situations. 
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, & work ethic.

Computer Skills  

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of computers and electronics.

Other Qualifications 

• Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
