POSITION: Event Custodian Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Event Services
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager
Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-time Event Custodian Supervisor for ASM Global/Sames Auto Arena.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following:
- Supervise & assign duties to the housekeeping staff.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all types of flooring throughout the facility.
- Ensure that all areas remain free of trash. Restrooms, dressing and locker rooms are well maintained, and tile surfaces are dry and clean.
- Maintain all glass, steel, and office surfaces through dusting, cleaning and polishing.
- Responsible for the proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use.
- Ensure all emergency pathways are kept free and clear of obstructions.
- Responsible for keeping housekeeping equipment and tools in working condition and notifying supervisor of any broken parts.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place when finished with them.
- Complete daily checklist to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our patrons attending each event.
- Assist clients with requests during events.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve housekeeping operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet customer expectations.
- Ability to work effectively as a team and with other building departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Management.
Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise & assign duties to the housekeeping staff.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or G.E.D is required.
- 2 years custodial experience is required with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Arena or venue experience is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills required.
