What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticket Seller position at ASM Global-SMG?
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This position is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day business of the Ticket Office.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Opens and /or closes ticket window during business hours.
- Sells tickets for the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center.
- Makes daily ticket sales reports.
- Files various records and reports.
- Prepares monies received for transfer of vault.
- Reconciles cash drawer to daily tickets sold.
- Performs related clerical work and other duties as required or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous cashier/money handling experience preferred.
- Must be able to accurately count money, make change, and use a computer.
- Enjoys working with general public.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Have a demonstrated ability to read, speak, hear and write in English.
- Possess the ability to input data into a computer terminal in order to record Sales transactions.
- Possess the ability to accurately count money and make change
