Job Summary
This individual will be responsible for planning and directing all aspects of financial and accounting activities at the facility by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and ASM Global policies and procedures.
- Monitors ASM Global compliance with all provisions of the management contract.
- Maintains contact with ASM Global's Risk Management Department and Insurance broker for coordination of appropriate coverage.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under minimal supervision. They will also have the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Requirements
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university.
- 5 to 7 years' experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level or as department head.
Additional Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting.
- Excellent math skills; high aptitude for figures.
- Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information required.
Certifications:
- CPA is preferred.
- Experience in following programs preferred - D365, Sage, Ticketmaster products, ABI or Workday.
