POSITION: Grounds Crew
REPORTS TO: Operations Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Operations
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Part-Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for Grounds Crew at the Stockton Ballpark.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Grounds Crew member will assist in areas as, but not limited to
- Infield dirt maintenance
- Mound and home plate repair
- Mowing and sod work
- Working Ports home games
- Landscape upkeep –trimming, weeding, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skill and Ability
- Highly- motivated, with the ability to work with others in stressful situations
- Some experience in general lawn care, particularly in a sport-field setting
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, beginning in March and ending in September/October
- Ability to work all Stockton Ports home games as well as any special events, Including Conversions Crew at the Stockton Arena
- Reliable transportation
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work longer hours as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Physical ability, as this is a taxing position
- Routine exposure to extreme heat/cold conditions
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $17.00
