THE ROLE
The Marketing Manager will oversee all aspects of marketing, communications, and brand management for LAEC. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented professional with experience in digital marketing, graphic design, and strategic communications. This role will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure LAEC’s brand and messaging are cohesive, impactful, and aligned with organizational goals.

This role will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure LAEC’s brand and messaging are cohesive, impactful, and aligned with organizational goals.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Webmaster Duties
- Manage content, design, performance, and security of the LAEC website, including the monthly events calendar.
- Oversee domain name management.
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and initiatives.
- Create and enforce brand agreements and policies, such as the Barn Branding Policy and partner agreements.
- Draft and manage 3-5 emails per week for various lists, including weekly operations, events, and emergency communications.
- Coordinate and execute communication strategies for announcements, events, and newsletters.
- Oversee content creation for social media, email campaigns, and crisis communications.
- Manage and grow the CRM/Mailing List Database.
- Design and maintain brand assets, including social media graphics, business cards, letterhead, presentations, and publications.
- Develop physical signage for site-wide use, horse shows, and events, ensuring timely production and handoff to the operations department.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to align with LAEC’s strategic goals.
- Manage online presence and engage with audiences in real-time.
- Serve as the primary contact for client marketing teams for events and sponsorships.
- Collaborate with partners like Visit Burbank and the LA Parks Foundation to promote LAEC.
- Assist in the development of sponsorship packages and personalized proposals.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for sponsor agreements.
- Update the website with sponsor-related content and ensure smooth handoff of assets to operations.
- Generate revenue-generating event ideas and manage pre-event logistics.
- Collaborate with operations teams during events and provide post-event analysis.
