About the Role
As a Venue Maintenance Specialist with ASM Global, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our venues worldwide. Your duties will encompass event set up and conversion, day-to-day facility maintenance, and customer-facing interactions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of event preparation, including setup and teardown of flooring, seating, staging, and other essential equipment.
- Perform daily facility operations, such as loading/unloading trucks, transporting trash, and replenishing supplies.
- Assist with pre- and post-event cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and spot cleaning.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, like painting and patching.
- Report any discrepancies or safety concerns to your supervisor promptly.
- Utilize machinery and equipment to clean and maintain the facility effectively.
Requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge of event setup procedures, cleaning techniques, and facility maintenance practices.
- Maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, exhibitors, and patrons.
- Follow established policies, risk management protocols, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures.
- Meet physical demands by performing strenuous duties, including lifting, carrying, moving, and climbing.

Qualifications
- Highest level of High School Diploma or equivalent required.
