What are the responsibilities and job description for the Javascript Engineer position at ASM Tech Solutions?
We are seeking a skilled JavaScript engineer to play a crucial role in our Legacy Application Modernization project. This position will focus on designing, developing and maintaining JavaScript libraries that serve as the critical interface between our node-based backend systems and our cryptography platforms. Java-based libraries are available for reference. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating robust, efficient and secure JavaScript libraries for background integrations.
Key Expectations :
- Design and develop high-performance JavaScript libraries that interface with various backend services, including legacy C applications and new services.
- Develop and maintain thorough unit and integration tests for all library functions.
- Collaborate with other backend teams to design and implement efficient API interfaces.
- Enough familiarity with the Java programming language to use Java-base libraries as a reference.
- Strong understanding of server side API's and inter-service communication protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to write clear documentation and explain complex technical concepts.
