Position Overview:
As Plant Controller, you will play a vital role in the plant leadership team, reporting directly to the CFO. This position involves financial management, budgeting, variance analysis, and supervisory duties to streamline and optimize the facility’s accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management financial statements, detailed annual budgets, and standard costs.
- Perform variance analyses and deliver insightful financial reviews to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead improvements in ERP and MRP systems to boost operational efficiency.
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other accounting enhancement projects.
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in financial statement preparation and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in ERP systems, general ledger platforms, and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
