Packing Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packaged and prepared for shipment, adhering to all safety and quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Package products according to specifications, ensuring that all items are securely packed for transport.
• Operate hand tools and machinery as needed for assembling packaging materials.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged goods to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
• Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move products as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Assist in the fabrication of packaging materials when necessary, demonstrating mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and FDA regulations is a plus.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools is essential.
• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to learn (certification may be required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly with logic controllers or similar systems.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
