We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Load and unload products using clamp trucks and pallet jacks.
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes safely and efficiently.
- Utilize RF scanners for accurate tracking of inventory and shipments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist in training new warehouse staff on operational procedures and equipment usage.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including clamp trucks and cranes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as inventory management systems.
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking is a plus.
