Deep learning object detection literature survey and practice on one real dataset.

Job Description

• Perform deep learning object detection literature survey and practice on one real dataset.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured quality test plan and test cases.
• Execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Analyze code quality and fix bugs.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Must be pursuing PhD or Master's Degree in Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field of engineering
• Experience in C and/or other object-oriented software development.
• Solid understanding in Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience in developing and debugging multi-threaded/parallel applications.
• Familiar with Linux environment and scripting languages.
• Experience in Image Processing, Computational Geometry, large data application, high performance computing, scientific simulation, and machine learning (data science) is a good plus.

The California base annual salary / hourly range for this role is currently $25 - $56/hr. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
