This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Role and responsibilities
The department Sourcing Wilton is responsible for the execution of the sourcing category strategies for Wilton suppliers and manage operational procurement with a total spend of 1.3B$. The department is also responsible for the supplier – ASML relation on all aspects. Activities focus on cost, reliability and flexibility of the supply while understanding and controlling the risks within the full supply chain. Long-term vision is key, while managing and developing the ASML- Supplier relationship into trusted partnerships. The Head of Sourcing Wilton is responsible for leading the team of Account Leads (AL) to achieve the objectives and mission of the department as described.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage ASML’s suppliers towards cost competitive and reliable supplies through leading a team of highly motivated Account Leads (indirect) and Group Supplier Managers (direct reports).
- Building long-term relationships with key suppliers and steering them towards cost effective, operational excellence, now, but also in 5 yrs from now, following ASML’s roadmap.
- Member of the Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain teams that drive the supplier selection process and secures longer term Logistics performance.
- Actively manage pro-active improvement programs at suppliers and their n-tiers (Cost, Cycle Time reduction, Delivery Improvement projects).
- Drive and secure execution of cost roadmaps and cost reduction initiatives.
- Plan and execute active involvement and leadership from suppliers to ASML production and ASML’s customers, actively lead operational escalations to suppliers.
- Plan, implement and control the required capacity, buffers and flexibility at suppliers.
- Effective communication internal and external on all managerial levels required.
- Manage all aspects of a team of managers and individuals: hiring, retaining, training, performance management, and performance execution.
- Develop and grow next level of management in Sourcing.
- Set-up and monitor the performance of several Supplier Account Teams and/or global account teams, drive cross sector supplier engagement and performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience (Industrial) Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Science preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years relevant work experience.
- Proven line management track record in high tech, automotive, medical device, aerospace, process industry or equivalent.
- Experience in building and maintaining strategic relations with suppliers.
- Experience in managing and coaching of professionals.
- Proven broad commercial experience in complex negotiations with suppliers or customers.

- Team size: 30 sourcing experts (bachelor/master's degrees), 1.3B$ annual spend, over 100 active suppliers of which at least 15 are strategic partners. Wilton Supplier Sourcing is contributing and indispensable to all scanner and measurement systems that ASML ships to customers.
