The Mechanical Engineer – Facilities will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and supporting the operation of major facilities systems such as HVAC, DI water, process water, chillers, boilers, pumps, exhaust systems, heat exchangers and roofing systems. This role also involves overseeing the distribution of process gases and liquids critical to manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of mechanical systems and experience in facilities engineering within a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
Role and responsibilitie
sMechanical Systems Design & Optimization
- :Design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance
- .Evaluate system performance metrics and implement upgrades or modifications as necessary
.Facilities Operations & Maintenance Support
- :Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC, process water, DI water, chillers, boilers, and other critical systems
- .Develop and refine preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
.Fluid and Gas Distribution Systems
- :Design, maintain, and optimize distribution systems for process gases and liquids, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards
- .Monitor system flow, pressures, and integrity to support manufacturing needs
.Project Management Support & Implementation
- :Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, including expansions, upgrades, and new installations
- .Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
