Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Cost Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data related to costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring financial efficiency within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial modeling, and experience in cost analysis within a corporate or sourcing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare reports to support business decision-making.
- Monitor cost variances and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in developing budgeting and forecasting models.
- Perform profitability analysis on products, projects, and business operations.
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to track and control costs.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and reports.
- Assist in setting standard costs and analyzing variances.
- Manage ocean freight, customs duties, and tariff analytics to optimize landed costs.
- Support financial planning and monthly/quarterly financial reviews.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal controls.
- Prepare and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
