Feline Foster Home Specialist

Responsibilities

The Foster Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Creating and sending calls to action for felines needing foster homes utilizing text, email, phone calls, and the private ASPCA LA Foster Facebook group.
• Maintaining a 'foster on deck' process to ensure timely and efficient flow of animals into foster care.
• Identifying and securing appropriate foster placement for eligible felines by communicating professionally and efficiently with foster caregivers.
• Providing outstanding customer service to the ASPCA's foster caregivers, responding to emails, text messages, Facebook posts, and phone calls in a timely manner.

Additional responsibilities include providing training, supervision, modeling, coaching, and ongoing guidance to foster caregivers, as well as inputting feline medical and behavior information into online tracking systems.
