Supervise an Exchange Student

Aspect Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been leading the way in high school international exchange for over 40 years!

We are currently looking for someone to help one of our host families in the Roseville area through the application and screening process, as well as to supervise and mentor the student who will be staying with this family during the school year.

Duties include:

• completing our training and certification program
• completing host family vetting which includes in-person interview and home visit of host family home
• required in-person contact once per semester with student and family
• monthly contact at minimum with the student and family (in-person, phone, email or text message)
• 1 mandatory host family orientation (in person or via zoom) prior to student arrival
• 3 mandatory in-person orientations after student arrival (August 2025, January 2026, April 2026)
• assisting the student and family with any challenges they may have on the program (culture shock, homesickness, etc.)
• maintaining contact with your supervisor and documenting with supervision reports on how the student is doing.

Requirements:

• Must live in Roseville or nearby community
• Excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve and good listener
• Clear background check

Please note that this is a part-time commissioned position. You will receive $1,350 for every year-long student that you work with, and $975 for every semester student.

There is also an opportunity to work with more students if you locate additional families who would like to host!
