Caregiver - Night Shift

This position require someone who can work EVERY Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Schedule: Friday to Monday, 11:15 PM to 7:15 AM

Aspen Acres Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate NOC Caregiver to join our team. The NOC Caregiver will provide exceptional care to our residents during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Care:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health status.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies.

Safety and Security:

• Conduct regular safety checks and rounds to ensure a secure environment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized living space.
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Documentation:

• Accurately document care provided and any notable changes in residents’ conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families.
• Assist in coordinating care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Previous caregiving experience in an assisted living or similar environment preferred.
• Experience with night shifts or NOC care is a plus.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

Certifications:

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents using proper lifting techniques.
• Capability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Capacity to respond quickly in emergency situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
