Overview
We are seeking 10 dedicated and compassionate Theraputic Behavioral Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and families to provide support in behavior management and crisis intervention. This role requires a strong understanding of behavior modification and the ability to handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism. The Theraputic Behavioral Specialists will play a crucial role in fostering positive behavioral changes and supporting individuals dealing with various behavioral and emotional challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop and implement individualized behavior management plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Monitor and document progress in treatment records, ensuring accurate data collection for research purposes.
  • Provide crisis management and intervention support during challenging situations.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to behavior coaching.
  • Educate families on techniques for managing behaviors at home.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information while adhering to ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral challenges or PTSD care.
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with research data collection methods related to behavioral health.
  • Ability to teach parents and children various parenting techniques as needed to adjust parenting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and team members.
  • A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to helping others improve their quality of life.
