Hotel Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure all bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing exceptional service to guests while respecting their privacy.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within the hospitality industry is advantageous.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts.
