Event Coordinator
Aspen Hollow is a landscape nursery in South Lake Tahoe. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic event coordinator for the upcoming season.
Responsibilities
Event Planning & Organization
- Seeking out local events to attend, or events that can be hosted at the nursery.
- Determining event themes, goals and objectives. This includes determining what product or service Aspen Hollow will offer at each event.
- Securing venue requirements for attendance such as permits or other documentation.
- Managing event logistics, such as registration, seating, and transportation.
Coordination & Communication
- Collaborating with nursery management to determine budgets, create event schedules, and obtain any necessary products/supplies.
- Communicating effectively with vendors, event hosts, and staff.
- Providing excellent customer service to attendees and clients.
- Managing event staff assignments and delegation.
- Ensuring events are set up and executed as planned and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Budget Management
- Creating and managing event budgets.
- Monitoring expenses and ensuring the event stays within budget.
- Tracking product inventory, determining costs and projected profits.
Post-Event Activities
- Creating reports and gathering feedback from events.
- Fulfilling any final outstanding duties and payments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently .
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities .
- Familiarity with technology.
- Knowledge of event planning and management principles .
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in event planning, marketing, or customer service is required.

This position is hybrid remote, with on-site events in the Tahoe area.
Schedule is part-time seasonal 10-25 hrs per week. Hours will vary depending on events schedule.
Full time position is available with hours and responsibilities supplemented on-site at Aspen Hollow.
Compensation is dependent on experience. ($22-$25/hr)

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
Language:
