What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Aspen Internal Medicine Consultants?
We are seeking services of a Medical Assistant to join our busy internal medicine practice in downtown Aspen. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30-5:00pm, immediate start date preferred. Responsibilities include rooming patients, phlebotomy, medication administration, etc. Strong computer skills, high attention to detail, and familiarity with an electronic medical record are essential. Candidates for this position should have a self-starter attitude and work well in a team setting. This position includes training for a primary care first grant program. Grant Program Details:
· Run weekly reports to track our high-risk patients to establish and track goals that lead to decreased emergency room utilization and decreased patient risk
· Must be highly organized with excel and have data tracking experience to successfully complete care delivery reporting
· Looking for an applicant with strong interpersonal skills and who is reliable and empathetic
