What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Aspen Management?
Full time Maintenance Staff (5 - 8 hour days or 4 - 10 hour days)
Needed for regional apartment complexes based in Bellevue, OH along with regional properties in Port Clinton OH, Northwood OH, and Oregon OH. Responsibilities are to maintain the property in accordance with the standards set by the Regional Property Manager and Aspen Management. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. Duties and requirements include but are not limited to the following:
- Electrical repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Painting
- Carpentry
- Laying flooring
- Drywall and finish work
- Under building and roof/gutter work
- Perform tasks safely in accordance with company policies and training
- Available on emergency basis, nights and weekends, on rotating schedule
- Available to travel to other Aspen managed properties when needed
- Utilize iPad to access email and property management software
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Small hand tools necessary for maintenance repairs
- Maintain a professional courteous manner with residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
