Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to support financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved timely.
- Assist in budgeting processes and provide insights for financial forecasting.
- Manage corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage payroll of assigned companies
- Complete and enter tax fileings quarterly and annually
- Provide technical accounting support and guidance on complex transactions.
- Mentor junior staff members in accounting practices and professional development.
- Utilize QuickBook soft for financial management and reporting tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of budgeting techniques and financial management principles.
- Strong knowledge and experience with QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in GAAP and technical accounting standards.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and procedures.
- Excellent mentoring skills to guide less experienced team members.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly.
- Proficient in using accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft or similar systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
