The Music Circulation / Chamber Music Librarian is responsible for managing the chamber music catalogue and staffing the Bucksbaum Campus Library during operating hours. This position reports to the Head Librarian and is a member of the AMFS Performance Librarian team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare chamber music parts for artist-faculty and students.
- Manage the circulation of chamber music parts and other items in the AMFS collection as necessary in consultation with the Head Librarian.
- Continue maintenance to the AMFS collection, along with cataloguing new acquisitions.
- Assist the Performance Librarians with distributing parts to musicians from the Bucksbaum Campus Library during operating hours.
- Staff the library at the Bucksbaum Campus.
- Work closely and effectively with guest artists, faculty members, students, and staff.
- At the discretion of the Head Librarian, work with publishers to ensure music materials are ordered, complete, and fully prepared. Dependent upon experience, the Chamber Music Librarian may be assigned a small performing ensemble in which case it would be required that they prepare those parts and attend all rehearsals, readings, and concerts for the assigned ensemble(s).

Compensation
14.81 / hour plus housing provided by AMFS (valued at a minimum of $4.91 / hour depending on location.) Overtime $22.22 / hour
