What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stage Crew (Meadows Campus) position at Aspen Music Festival And School?
The Meadows Campus production team is responsible for the production implementation of all concerts, rehearsals, and events occurring at the Aspen Music Festival & School's (AMFS) main performance venues. These facilities include a 2,050-seat Klein Music Tent and the 500-seat Harris Concert Hall. AMFS produces an 8-week festival presenting world class artists in classical music, opera, theatre, and more with multiple events happening every day. Stage Crew work under the supervision of the Production Manager and Assistant Production Managers and collaborates with a team of stage managers, electricians, and audio engineers. There are multiple positions available for the upcoming season.
Responsibilities
- Implement stage sets, changeovers, hanging / cabling lighting instruments, loading trucks, assisting opera run crew, maintaining the venue's concert equipment (chairs / stands / risers, etc...), stage management of chamber music concerts or master classes, preparing venues for first performances and winterizing them at the end of the summer, and tending to occasional facilities needs of the Meadows Campus.
- Work with world-renowned artists, faculty, students, orchestra managers, librarians, house managers, audio engineers, and fellow production staff to ensure excellence for performers and audience members.

Compensation
14.81 / hour plus housing provided by AMFS (valued at a minimum of $4.91 / hour depending on location.) Overtime $22.22 / hour
Benefits include AMFS season pass and paid sick time.
