Audio Engineers are members of the Edgar Stanton Audio Recording Center (ESARC) team, led by the Director of Audio and Media Production. This team records most performances for the eight-week summer season, provides live sound reinforcement for many Aspen Music Festival and School concerts, and assists with livestreamed concert events. ESARC staff work closely with the other AMFS production staff and report to the Head of Audio Production on live sound calls.
Responsibities
- Audio engineers will record a wide variety of performing ensembles encompassing symphonic orchestras, recitals, chamber ensembles, operas and choral groups, and new music ensembles in a variety of Festival venues. Additional responsibilities include :
- Provide live sound support at Festival venues, working independently and as part of a team.
- Participate in livestreamed video production of concerts, potentially including camera operation, score following, graphics and stream monitoring.

Compensation
14.81 / hour plus housing provided by AMFS (valued at a minimum of $4.91 / hour depending on location.) Overtime $22.22 / hour
