Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and document medications used across the health campus.
- Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
- Examine and identify medications brought into the health campus by new residents with the attending physician, facility pharmacy, or pharmacist.
- Create a caring, compassionate environment where residents feel valued and safe.
- Follow health campus policies and procedures regarding medication disposal.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience as a QMA or CMA in a long-term care or home care setting (a plus).
