We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ActivityAssistant to join our team.
The primary role of the Activity Assistant is to helpcreate and execute engaging and meaningful activities for the residents,enhancing their quality of life.
The candidate should be creative, enthusiastic, and have agenuine interest in working with the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead a range of recreational activities for residents
- Encourage resident participation in activities and events
- Assess the needs and interests of residents through personal interaction and surveys
- Coordinate special events such as holiday celebrations and birthdays
- Document resident participation in activities
- Assist with the transportation of residents to and from activities
- Assist with the coordination of community volunteers
- Ensure that all activities comply with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure resident needs are met
