Job Overview
Aspen Ridge Retirement Village is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our assisted living and memory unit (40 apartments), ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide exceptional service to residents by responding promptly to requests for additional items or services.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

* Sign on bonus of $250 at 4 months
